The story
Our journey begins in Latvia, one of the world's greenest countries, where forests are valued as the nation's green gold. To help more people enter the growing forestry sector, we have partnered with Timbro, a rapidly expanding forestry company, and Apply, a leading AI equipment developer in Northern Europe. Together, we aim to create a model that maximizes the potential of the forest industry.
In this project, Timbro plays a crucial role in managing the forestry sector from start to finish. Apply is responsible for developing hardware solutions that enhance speed and profitability, giving us a competitive advantage.
Our model is straightforward: FF Forest purchases undervalued, deforested land in Latvia. We strategically harvest usable plots, reforest selected areas to earn carbon credits (CO2), and sell agricultural land to farmers. Once we acquire the desired number of hectares, we refinance our portfolios through a bank or other financial institution.
To protect our investors, we have established a legal framework in collaboration with the Latvian Blockchain Association. This framework records our users' earning rights in official government registers, as well as on the blockchain, ensuring transparency and independence for everyone involved.
